A mobile police station has been set up in northern Qatar to help, in part, residents and tourists visiting the area’s popular beaches, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced in Arabic yesterday.
The unit has already been deployed in Al Ghariya, which includes Fuwairit beach, particularly during weekends and public holidays. Officers there can provide criminal investigation and patrolling services, saving residents a trip to the main police stations closer to Doha to file complaints, the MOI said.
