CEO of Lusail Real Estate Development Company, Essa Mohamed Ali Kaldari, says that the development’s first tenants should be moving in by the end of 2013. 

The Gulf Times quotes him as saying that some investors are constructing buildings that are “at commissioning stage”, and he adds that Qatari Diar is competing to be amongst the city’s first tenants.

Lusail City is expected to completed by 2020, at which point its working and residential population is projected to be around 450,000 people.
