KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced it is launching a direct Amsterdam-Doha flight, dropping the previous Dammam stopover, Gulf Times reports.

The flight would shave off more than an hour of travel time and would be offered five times a week: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The Dutch airline is just the latest to announce a direct Doha flight. United Airlines kicked off its Washington, D.C.-Doha flight last month, while German carrier Lufthansa dropped its Riyadh stopover from Frankfurt to Doha last October.
