It’s already March and, unusually, the air outside is still a bit nippy.
The Qatar Meteorology Department puts it this way:
It’s worth noting that the temperatures are less than the averages in this time of the year by about 2–3 degrees.
Previous weather forecasts said the chill would be with us until Thursday, but Al Jazeera English’s senior weather presenter Steff Gaulter, says that won’t be the end of it:
The chilly winds may well ease on Thurday @dohanews…but looks like they’ll be back on Saturday….

Personally, we don’t mind, no doubt summer will have its fair shake.
