Qatar University has advanced in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, making it into the list of the top 600 varsities globally.

The university came in the 501-600 bracket of the THE’s 2016/17 league table, up from its position in the 601-800 category when it debuted in the list last year, QU said in a statement.
