If you have pest control problems, a serious sewage issue, or just a tree in need of trimming, you could be reporting it to city authorities on your phone.
The Ministry Of Municipality and Urban Planning Services has recently rolled out an iPhone app for residents to file complaints directly to them, even letting you attach a picture of the problem. The app will even let you track the status of your complaint and the ministry’s response.
The Gulf Times newspaper reports that delays in response to complaints would be “kept to a minimum”.Â
For those who aren’t using Apple products, you can file complaints through the Baladiya website, but the ministry says it has  plans to develop apps for other mobile platforms in the near future.
Still in active development, you check out the iPhone app at the iTunes App Store. Not sure if it has an English option, but let us know if you try it.
