High-end restaurant Gordon Ramsay’s Maze has closed its doors permanently, with employees citing falling sales due to the Pearl’s alcohol ban as the main reason.
The restaurant, which has been closed since March, was the only Maze in the Middle East and had been open for two years, Hotelier Middle East reports.
Tse Yang and Megu also closed earlier this year due to tumbling sales, but reopened sans alcohol last week.
Ramsay may be recouping his investment with his two new restaurants at the St. Regis – Gordon Ramsay Doha and Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha – both of which serve alcohol.
