Foreign workers to be vaccinated “on arrival” – does that mean at the airport?
The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) is trying to curb communicable diseases like measles, mumps and rubella.
As part of that effort, SCH will be “vaccinating the workforce on arrival here,” according to Dr Asma Al Nuaimi, SCH’s immunization head.
They also plan to begin immunizing children at schools – or in residences for home-schoolers – with the ultimate aim of eradicating those diseases in the country.
