Firefighters in Qatar successfully controlled a blaze that broke out in Qatar’s Najma neighborhood yesterday. According to a witness who spoke to Doha News, the fire started shortly after 11am.

Gulf Times reports that this is the second time in six months that the same compound has caught on fire. It quoted residents of the area as saying occupants continued to store old goods such as newspapers and other items on the roof, despite warnings from officials.
