Amid rising complaints from Pearl-Qatar residents about excessive engine noise from drivers “joy-riding” near their homes late at night, a sign banning motorbikes from 10pm to 10am has been posted.

Residents, who enjoyed a brief lull in the noise due to a police presence last weekend, are exempted from the ban.
