An Al Meera branch in Al Khor has been closed for two weeks for selling “food unfit for human consumption,” Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has announced. It did not provide any further details about the violation.

The branch is located in the Al Ghuwariyah area and was shut on May 8, according to the MME’s website. It will be closed until May 22.
