From interdisciplinary panels and announcement press conferences to day-long exhibits on Tuesday, the Web Summit Qatar had plenty to offer on Tuesday.
The third day of Web Summit Qatar 2025 saw plenty of activities: from press conferences to talks on the global economy, brand building and privacy, as well as the announcement of a football club’s “innovation engine.”
The Doha Exhibition and Convention Center’s main area continued to function as a melting pot for start-ups, scale-ups and large tech companies alike. Footfall, like Monday, was of considerable magnitude.
Here’s the penultimate day of this year’s summit, in pictures:

Web Summit’s CEO and Founder Paddy Cosgrove addressed the media, detailing this year’s event had 25,747 attendees from across 124 countries.
Cosgrave said the platform serves as a window to the future and an opportunity for young startups to network and further their ideas.

Social media platforms such as Tiktok and Snapchat are present at the summit, amidst local tech businesses, government entities as well as start-ups and small tech ventures.

Palestinian photographer Motaz Azaiza was on the Centre Stage, sharing his work from the early days of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Plenty of start-ups and businesses continued to put their products and ideas on display. A self-driving suitcase capable of following direction was pulling attention just outside of the center stage.

Pam Kaufman, Paramount’s president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products and experiences was on the center stage to talk about how the company ties global fandom together with the likes of SpongeBob, Star Trek and Ninja Turtles.

The first Egyptian, Arab and African woman in space Sarah Sabry advocated for inclusive research for space exploration, announcing the launch of Strive, an initiative designed to connect Earth and space through innovative research and accessible collaboration.

Doha News caught up with Paris Saint-Germain’s Chief Innovation and Digital Officer Jerry Newman moments after PSG Lab, the club’s “innovation engine” was announced at the press conference venue inside the media village. Its headquarters will be based in Doha.

Towards the end of the day, iHearMedia Digital’s CEO Conal Byrne and host of the On Purpose podcast Jay Shetty held a conversation on the center stage about purpose and podcasting — themes that Shetty touches on in his work.
