Tickets for an upcoming concert in Qatar by Dutch electronic music sensation Tiesto are now on sale. The concert will be held at the Sheraton Doha on Feb. 25.
They costs QR300/person in phase one of the sales, which are almost sold out. During phase two, tickets will cost QR350/person.
According to organizers Iconic Qatar, the concert is open only to people who are 21 years and older. A Qatar ID or passport is required for entry.
And it appears no one in national dress or women in headscarves will be allowed, as the dress code is defined as “smart casual trendy/No sportswear or headgear of any kind.”
This is typically the case when alcohol is served at such events in Qatar.
Tijs Michiel Verwest, better known by his stage name Tiesto, first shot to fame in 2001. Since then, the 46-year-old has consistently been named one of the top three DJs in the world, becoming the first DJ to play live at the Olympics in Athens in 2004, and winning a Grammy last year.
