Doha itself saw rain for the first time in six months earlier this week, delighting many.
Steff Gaulter, senior meteorologist for Al Jazeera English, said more rain will likely reach Doha by tonight.
In a statement, the MET agreed, adding:
“During the weekend the wind is going to be NW’LY from fresh to strong in speed reaches up to 28 KT at times offshore and rising sea waves up to 11 FT on Saturday.”
The rain watch is expected to end by Saturday at noontime. Temperatures will fall tomorrow, and range from 19C (66F) to 26C (79F).
Will the rain affect your weekend plans? Thoughts?
