Qatar fell short of qualifying for the Olympics in Rio after being defeated by South Korea last night during the U-23 AFC championship semi-finals.

South Korea scored twice in the last five minutes of the game, beating Qatar 1-3, and advancing to the finals against Japan on Jan. 30.

Qatar still has one more shot to make it to Rio, when it plays Iraq on Friday, Jan. 29.

The winner of the match will join Japan and South Korea in representing the AFC at the Olympics.
