It all fell apart for Qatar’s national football team last night during the end of a game against Iran. The Gulf state lost 0-2 in the first match of the final rounds of qualifying matches for the 2018 Russia World Cup.
However, the team isn’t out of the running yet to secure its spot. It faces Uzbekistan on Sept. 6, South Korea on Oct. 10 and Syria on Oct. 11. It is also scheduled to play China in November and have a rematch with Iran in March 2017.
