How much can a place change in nine years? A lot, apparently.

Hamad Al-Thani, who has a knack for juxtaposing photos of old and new Qatar, has come up with these images.

He writes:

I was on Flickr earlier today and stumbled across some pictures of Doha back in 2004. I was curious to see how much had changed in 9 years, so i went out and took pictures in the same locations…
