Following heavy downpours last night, local meteorologists are forecasting more rain over Qatar today.
But it shouldn’t be as strong as yesterday, when lightning storms lit up the sky:

Residents who plan to spend time outdoors should keep in mind that in addition to the possibility of rain, it’s going to be a windy Friday.
The Qatar Meteorology Department (MET) said windspeed could reach up to 30 knots (56km/hour) in some parts of the country.
After a cloudy day, “thundery rain” is forecast to move in shortly before sunset, around 6pm, and last into the evening.
But cloudy, windy conditions should give in to hotter, clearer weather tomorrow:
Saturday should be the sunnier day of the weekend 🙂

Top temperatures today will reach only 25C (77F) in Doha today, and rise to 27C (81F) tomorrow, according to the MET.
