Wetter weather is on the way this weekend, as scattered rains and possible thunderstorms are forecast across Qatar over the next few days.
When rain falls here, it’s usually in the northern parts of the country. But according to Steff Gaulter, senior meteorologist for Al Jazeera English, that precipitation will also be felt in Doha:
Morning Doha! Expect some rain tonight and tomorrow, then it'll get a bit cooler again.

In a statement on its website, the Qatar Meteorology Department adds that the rain is expected to subside by Saturday afternoon.
Misty conditions may prevail tomorrow morning, and cooler temperatures are expected to be felt over the next two days, the MET said:
“From Saturday evening Northwesterly winds – strong in speed (speed: 15-25 and reaches 30 knots / wave height: 4-6/8 feet to the North) will be affecting the area, which will cause a decrease in the maximum temperature to be 19-15C , and the minimum of 10-13C from Sunday evening.”
