This week, Qatar residents will finally be able to say, “winter is coming,” as the Qatar’s Meteorology Department forecasts a considerable drop in temperatures.
Tomorrow’s daytime maximum of 41C (106F) is set to fall to the mid-30s (~90sF) on Tuesday.
Night-time temperatures will also drop accordingly, reducing to around 28C (82F) in Doha and 22C (72F) in the south-west of Qatar later this week.
However, the MET has told Doha News that the drop in temperatures will be accompanied by a strong wind that will whip up surface sand and make conditions unpleasantly dusty.
Thoughts?
