For those still making their weekend plans, expect windy, dusty conditions to persist through tomorrow, though the morning’s low visibility is expected to clear up shortly.
There’s also a chance of light rain in parts of the country, including Doha, over the next couple of days, according to the Qatar Meteorology Department (MET).
Additionally, the start to the weekend may feel a bit sticky, as the cloudy, dusty and drizzly weather conditions will be accompanied by a rise in temperatures. The mercury is expected to reach 40C (104F) by Friday, a MET forecaster told Doha News.
Now that we’re in May, hot weather is expected to be the norm, and no longer the exception – much to the dismay of many residents.
