A whopping $1 million is on the line as India’s JSW Bengaluru faces off against Iraq’s Air Force Club tonight at the AFC Cup final.
The match kicks off at 7pm at the Suhaim bin Hamad (Qatar Sports Club) Stadium.
According to ESPN, “history will be made” no matter who wins, as no Iraqi team has ever taken the AFC club title. And no Indian team has even made it to the finals before.
Thousands of fans are expected to turn out for the final, which is being held in Doha because Iraq was deemed unsafe for play, ESPN added.
Tickets
Tickets for the game only went on sale yesterday, according to the AFC.
Anyone who wants to go can buy them today as well, as ticket booths will be open from 4pm to kick-off at 7pm.
Head to Gate 4 if you’re an Air Force Club supporter, or Gate 5 for JSW Bengaluru fans.
They cost QR30 per person, and QR50 for VIP seats. Each person can only buy a maximum of five tickets.
