It is a packed events season in Doha with plenty of places to visit throughout the weekend, from the action-packed UFC Fight Night to the highly-anticipated Doha Film Festival.

1. UFC Fight Night Doha 2025
Those looking for an action-packed event can head to the UFC Fight Night at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena on Saturday, where Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker will headline a lightweight showdown.

2. Aswaq Winter Festival
The events calendar also features numerous markets and exhibitions to visit, including the Aswaq Winter Festival.
The festival features home-grown and handmade goods, from food and beverage to accessories. Palestinians evacuated from Gaza to Doha also have their own special booths, where they sell a vibrant collection of their handmade items, including embroidered scarfs and hand-painted home accessories.

3. Doha Film Festival
The highly-anticipated Doha Film Festival is promising a long list of film screenings, concerts and activities throughout the week. This weekend, screenings include The Voice of Hind Rajab whereas musical performances include Sudanese artist Sammany Hajo.
The venues include Katara Cultural Village, Lusail Boulevard, Museum of Islamic Art Msheireb Downtown among others.

4. The Grand Auto Show
Car enthusiasts can head over to the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), the country’s biggest automotive event of the year. The event features more than 300 vehicles, from hypercars, supercars, classics to motorcycles.

5. Winter Mirage Fest at Meryal Waterpark
Those looking for a different experience this weekend can head to the Meryal Waterpark for the Winter Mirage Fest, which features music and entertainment for families and friends to enjoy.
