1. 34th Doha International Book Fair

Bookworms have an exciting weekend ahead as the highly-anticipated Doha International Book Fair is back in its 34th edition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
The latest edition is the largest in the fair’s history, with a total of 522 publishing houses from 43 countries set to showcase their publications. Palestine is also the guest of honour at the book fair with the participation of 11 Palestinian publishers.

2. Doha Family Shopping Fair

This weekend is the last chance for hopping addicts to visit the mega Doha Family Shopping Fair, held at the southern side of Katara Cultural Village. The event features a wide variety of items, from apparel to home accessories.

3. Kayaking Adventure

With the sandstorm finally fading, a fun kayaking adventure is still a great option to enjoy Qatar’s mangroves before temperatures increase even further.

4. LATINOAMERICANO Exhibition

Those looking for an artistic yet informative experience can visit the National Museum of Qatar for the LATINOAMERICANO exhibition, the first of its kind in the WANA region.
The exhibition is a collaboration between Qatar Museums and Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires as part of the Qatar Argentina and Chile 2025 Year of Culture.
Some of the most exciting things to look forward to are a portrait of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo as well as rare photos of her last moments before her death.

5. West Asian Beach Volleyball Championship

Some of West Asia’s finest volleyball duos will be in action at the Al Gharafa Beach Courts this weekend as part of the WAVA Beach Volleyball Tour.
Nineteen teams from seven Arab nations will compete for the inaugural edition’s title. Several Qatari duos will be in action across both the men’s and women’s categories.
No tickets are needed as entry is free for all.
