A fire that erupted at a portacabin in a materials yard this afternoon has been brought under control by firefighters.

The blaze sent plume of smoke billowing off of Al Waab St. near the Aspire Zone and Villaggio Mall. There don’t appear to be any injuries, according to witnesses.
