Motorists in Qatar were cautioned to proceed slowly on the roads early this morning after the onset of fog decreased visibility in several parts of the country.
Meteorologists said the fog was a result of lower nighttime temperatures combining with the high humidity.

In the past, such conditions have heralded the very beginnings of the winter season. Temperatures remain in the high 30s today in Doha, however.

This is down from the 40C weather the capital saw last week, but still high for early October, and the sun appears to be burning through the fog quickly this morning:

As always when visibility is low, drivers are advised to use their fog lights – not their hazards – when on the road.
For those who missed the fog this morning, expect more in the coming days until the humidity recedes.
