Strategic partnership aims to streamline business setup and financial services through the Invest Qatar Gateway platform.
In a significant move to strengthen Qatar’s appeal as a premier global investment hub, Invest Qatar and QNB signed a strategic partnership agreement on Monday, aimed at making it easier for international companies to establish and grow their presence in the Qatari market.
The partnership was formalised through the signing of an agreement by Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al Thani, CEO of Invest Qatar, and Abdulla Mubarak Al Khalifa, Group CEO of QNB.
“We are pleased to partner with QNB on this key milestone, which reflects our ongoing commitment to providing investors with seamless access to the resources and support they need to succeed,” said Sheikh Ali Alwaleed.
The Invest Qatar CEO said the partnership aims to unlock new opportunities and enhance Qatar’s role as a global business and innovation hub, adding that it will help “deliver best-in-class services and offer a robust support network”.
This collaboration will be delivered through the Invest Qatar Gateway, the country’s first digital platform dedicated to supporting foreign investors.
The platform offers a comprehensive suite of business setup tools, now enhanced with exclusive financial services provided by QNB.
Investors will benefit from expedited account openings, within three working days, as well as access to onboarding packages, sector-specific financial programs, and dedicated account management support.
QNB’s Group CEO, Abdulla Mubarak Al Khalifa, highlighted the significance of this partnership in driving economic growth.
“Our strategic collaboration with Invest Qatar marks a significant step in our shared mission to drive economic growth and attract international investment to Qatar. By combining QNB’s comprehensive financial expertise with Invest Qatar’s dynamic platform, we are streamlining the journey for foreign investors and supporting them every step of the way,” Al Khalifa concluded.
Beyond core services, the partnership will foster global business connections, mutual referrals, and knowledge exchange, all aimed at reinforcing Qatar’s position in international markets.
The recently upgraded Invest Qatar Gateway now features a user-friendly interface, direct real-time support, and specialized banking packages available only to platform users.
Part of the broader Access Qatar programme, the initiative strengthens support for investors at every stage, from market entry to expansion, reinforcing Qatar’s position as a top investment hub.
