Qatar Charity’s ‘27th Night Challenge’ at Katara Cultural Village on Wednesday aims to raise QAR 40m ($11m) for rebuilding 1,500 homes in Syria.
Qatar Charity is hosting the largest fundraising event on YouTube, with a goal to raise 40 million riyals for a major project to rebuild homes for displaced Syrians affected by the ongoing crisis.
The “27th Night Challenge” on Wednesday will include live video calls with several Syrian influencers and media figures from displacement camps in Syria.

In a press release, QC’s Chief Marketing Officer Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo called on Qatar’s benefactors—individuals, companies, and organisations—to contribute to crucial reconstruction efforts in Syria.
He urged them to give their Zakat and Sadaqah to rebuild homes for displaced Syrians, ending their suffering and restoring dignified living conditions after 14 years of crisis.
The reconstruction project will be implemented in the Hama countryside, an area devastated by bombings.
It will focus on rebuilding essential infrastructure, including a health centre, mosques, schools, and 50 commercial shops.
Once completed, the project will close displacement camps, ending years of hardship and enabling families to return to their homes, revitalising their communities.
