Safe’s World is an animated series that educates children on online risks, promoting responsible digital navigation and safe internet and gaming practices.
Qatar TV is airing Sage’s World every three days at 2:52pm throughout Ramadan, focusing on crucial issues such as cyberbullying, privacy protection, and safe social media use. The series offers practical advice in a fun, engaging format, helping children understand key digital safety concepts.
Produced in partnership with Nefaish Animation, the series combines high-quality visuals with compelling storytelling to help families navigate the digital landscape confidently.
Duha Al Buhendi, Director of the Digital Society and Digital Competencies Department at MCIT, highlighted the importance of interactive learning, stating, “Traditional awareness methods are no longer enough in today’s digital age. Our focus is on engaging content that teaches cybersecurity fundamentals in an enjoyable way.”
Qatar TV Director Ali Salih Al Sada expressed the channel’s support, emphasising the role of media in spreading digital awareness. “This initiative is not just for entertainment; it serves as an educational tool to help children engage with the digital world safely and responsibly.”
Developed with IT-Serve Qatar, the project is part of the Ministry’s Safe Space initiative, designed to equip children and families with essential online safety skills.
In addition to airing on Qatar TV, Safe’s World episodes will be accessible online via the Safe Space platform (www.safespace.qa) and YouTube, expanding access for children and families in Qatar and beyond.
Through these initiatives, the ministry aims to equip children with essential digital skills to navigate online challenges responsibly, ensuring they can safely and positively engage with technology.
The ministry continues to develop interactive programs and fresh educational content tailored to younger generations’ interests.
These efforts align with Qatar’s Vision 2030, prioritising digital awareness as a key pillar in fostering responsible and sustainable digital transformation.
