1. Garangao celebrations

The Gulf region’s highly anticipated Garangao celebrations are taking place on Friday, March 14, a perfect time for all populations to witness the cultural event.
Celebrated on the 14th night of every Ramadan, Garangao is a tradition celebrated in the Gulf region as a reward and incentive for children for completing their fasts during the first half of the holy month.
Various Garangao events are taking place in Doha, including Msheireb Downtown, Old Doha Port, Katara Cultural Village, The Pearl, Doha Fire Station, and Qatar National Library among others.

2. Ramadan at Torba

The Torba Farmers Market has extended its opening days during Ramadan to include both Friday and Saturday.
The Ramadan edition embeds traditional elements including foods, games and craftsmanship while adding a dedicated Palestinian Souq.
The souq is a collaborative effort by the Palestinian community in Qatar, featuring numerous activities including embroidery, maamoul and bracelet making while selling Palestinian goods .

3. Ramadan in Hosh Msheireb

The Throwback Food Festival is here to stay at the Old Doha Port until the end of the month.

In addition to the food options, visitors will get the chance to enjoy the iconic view of Qatar’s vibrant skyline from the Old Mina District.
