PHOTOS: Fire breaks out on building roof in Musheireb

Emergency responders are at the scene of a rooftop fire near Al Jaidah Tower that is sending plumes of smoke into the air around Musheireb.

According to residents in the area, the fire originated from the top of a building across from Al Jaidah Tower.

It is unclear what caused the fire or if anyone was hurt. One witness told Doha News he heard people shouting outside before noticing the smoke.

But he added that the fire was quickly extinguished:
