Qatar’s Ministry of Interior is forming some 35 teams to be on the lookout for people soliciting donations outside of public places this Ramadan.
In a statement, the MOI has asked residents to report those “exploiting” the spiritual nature of the holy month by calling 347444 or 33618627. It added that nearly 300 people were arrested last Ramadan for the offense.
