This milestone makes the Qatar Olympic Committee the first organisation in Qatar and the Middle East to receive this prestigious international recognition.

The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has received international certification in ISO 30401, the Knowledge Management System standard, following a Bureau Veritas audit.

This certification confirms that QOC’s processes meet the highest global standards for managing and sharing knowledge.

ISO 30401 helps organisations effectively manage and share knowledge, improving decision-making, collaboration, and innovation. With this recognition, QOC becomes a role model locally and regionally.

Jassim bin Rashid al-Buenain, Secretary-General of QOC, emphasised that knowledge management is a strategic tool for the committee, helping them leverage expertise, ensure sustainability, and tackle future challenges.

He expressed pride in being the first institution in Qatar to achieve this certification and reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to supporting Qatar National Vision 2030.
