Two movies that were produced and funded by the Doha Film Institute have been nominated for Oscar awards.
Jordanian film Theeb and French film Mustang are up for Best Foreign Language Film, along with competitors Son of Saul (Hungary), Embrace the Serpent (Colombia) and A War (Denmark).
