The Box Appeal, a region-wide campaign to help construction workers by donating small everyday items to them, has come to Qatar, organizers Msheireb Properties and Qatar Charity have said.
To participate, individuals and organizations are asked to pick boxes up from certain malls around Doha and fill them with any or all of the following: toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, comb, hand washing soap, shampoo, deodorant, socks, cap and hand sanitizer.
The items that go in the box should be new and unused. Boxes can be found at City Center Mall, Villagio, Hyatt Plaza, Msheireb Properties and Qatar Charity.

The Box Appeal, formerly known as the Shoebox Appeal, was founded as a charity initiative by Radisson Blu and Park Inn Hotels in the UAE, Bahrain, Cairo and Oman.
