Teachers at Qatar’s independent schools will have to take eligibility exams
The Supreme Education Council is requiring all teachers at Qatar’s independent schools to pass an aptitude test, regardless of age or experience.
Media reports say school principals and license owners oppose the regulation, calling it “morally wrong” to test instructors with 20+ years of experience. Plus, they argue it will impact the quality of education midway through the academic year.
What do you think? An important test to maintain standards of instruction, or unnecessary interference?
