Actual construction of the three-story building will begin in about a year, after the design and tendering stage is completed. The entire structure is slated for completion in three years, ECAQ's chairman told Doha News.

The new place of worship will be several kilometers outside of central Doha in Mesaimeer’s religious complex, next to the Catholic Church Of Our Lady Of Rosary.
