US adds Qatari human rights advocate to ‘terrorist’ watch list
Abdul Rahman Bin Umair Al Nuaimi, 59, is accused of funneling money to Al-Qaeda. The former Qatar University professor has denied the charges, but resigned this week as head of Swiss-based human rights group Alkarama to protect the organization.
