For the first time in nearly a decade, Doha may see some rain showers in August. According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, cloud formations indicate that thunderstorms could be on the horizon for certain parts of the country tomorrow:

If the precipitation, which would come during Qatar’s most humid month, hits Doha, it would be a bit of a Ramadan miracle. Steff Gaulter, senior meteorologist at Al Jazeera English, said:
Last time it rained in #Doha in August was 2005. Here’s hoping we see some on Monday!

The unusual weather is already affecting other countries in the Gulf, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which saw flooding over the weekend.
Are you praying for rain? Thoughts?
