After something of a lightning storm last night, rain has been falling across Doha. But while some reported rain falling fast and furiously one minute, the clouds had cleared the next.

As rain is always infrequent and fleeting in Qatar, residents usually post joyously on social media about the event. And there’s the inevitable complaints about cars having just been washed.
