Qatar’s Sheikha Mozah makes Vanity Fair’s best-dressed list again

Vanity Fair has named Qatar’s First Lady Sheikha Mozah as one of the world’s most fashionable people for a second year in a row.

The wife of the Emir, who has an adoring fan club on Tumblr, has had a busy year.

She made headlines when opening a new Islamic law and ethics center directed by Tariq Ramadan and is the subject of a controversial book-to-film adaptation in Egypt.

Sheikha Mozah, who also made AP’s list of “Most Notable First Wives” in the Middle East last month, is described by Vanity Fair as:

Wife of H.H. the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani; chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development; UNESCO special envoy for basic and higher education.

Others who made VF’s International Best-Dressed List include Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, American football player Tom Brady and rapper Jay-Z.
