Qatar’s Emir will be spending the next “several days” in Los Angeles on a “working visit,” QNA has reported. According to Qatar’s ambassador to the US, the visit will “further enhance relations between Qatar & California.”

In January, Qatar Airways began flying direct from Doha to LA. And last year, the Gulf country’s sovereign wealth fund invested $1.34 billion to buy four office buildings in the city.
