Qatar inspectors shut down stalls at Ramadan souq

Five stalls at the Ramadan souq inside the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center (DECC) have been temporarily closed by inspectors from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), the Peninsula reports.

The booths were shut down for violating provisions of the consumer protection law, including failure to show prices and details of products and giving false information. They will reopen once they have addressed the problems, the newspaper quoted the ministry as saying.
