Qatar National Bank has not reduced its cash withdrawal limits, a representative has said, adding that an email stating otherwise is a hoax.
This week, a number of customers received a message from the address noreply@qcb.press that said that QNB was reducing its daily withdrawal limit to QR1,000 and the monthly maximum to QR5,000. “We can confirm the email is fake and it was not sent by QNB. Our limits remain unchanged. We are taking the necessary actions to close the domain of the sender,” QNB told Doha News.
