Thousands of people turned out for the 27th Qatar Fertiliser Company’s (QAFCO) Flower and Vegetable Show in Mesaieed yesterday.

On display were some very creative carvings, comprised of fruit, vegetables, butter and bread. There were also live carving competitions, and an appearance by the Ministry of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada.

Amateur photographer Aju George Chris, who snapped the above photos and shared them with Doha News, called the displays “stunning” but added that there were few activities to engage visitors.
