    • Peninsula: Residents withdraw $1.1 billion from ATMS across Qatar over Eid holidays

    Banks in Qatar have reopened today after a five-day Eid break. 

    Over the holiday, residents reportedly availed themselves of the ATMs found in major shopping malls and other parts of Qatar, withdrawing some $1.1 billion (QR4 billion).
