Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive in Qatar today on an official visit to meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Buhari heads here from Saudi Arabia, where he and leaders expressed support for efforts to stabilize the oil market, though Nigeria stopped short of committing to a production freeze. Last month, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Venezuela and Qatar agreed to maintain maintain current crude output levels to keep oil prices steady, though Iran declined to follow suit.
