One of the fastest cars on the road may soon be enforcing speed limits in Qatar.
The McLaren 650S – done up in the colors of the Qatar Traffic Police – was among the exhibits on show at the Milipol Qatar 2016.
The conference, which opened yesterday, is dedicated to showcasing homeland security technology in the Middle East.
According to Mawater, the British-made supercar was fitted with radar technology to catch speeding motorists on the run.

Running until tomorrow at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), the show features a variety of equipment and technologies for areas like border security, road safety and civil defense.

Delegates from across the region are attending the event, which features stands from Qatari organizations such as the Qatari Coast Guard, Qatar Customs and the Qatar Armed Forces.
It is not open to the public.
