A huge rush to apply for desert camping permits in Qatar prompted the Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) electronic registration system to crash.
The MME tweeted yesterday that the site would be back in business within a few hours. In an update this morning, the ministry said the “technical glitch” had been fixed and the online site was back up and running.
