A chill is in the air this morning as Qatar residents wake up to face a windy and overcast week.
According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, the maximum temperature today will reach 19C (66F) and the minimum will fall to 14C (57F) – though windchill could make being outdoors feel much colder than that.
This is usually the time of the year that space heaters sell out of stores, as almost all Qatar residences are only equipped with air conditioning units, and have no central heating.
On a bright note, visibility has cleared up since last week, as the wind kicks up less dust. A forecaster told Doha News that this weather will continue for at least the next five days, adding that there’s a slight chance of rain at night.
